So you are driving your car and the headlights shut off! You have turned the car off and on to limp home hoping they stay on and you dont get into an accident. You find out that the failed part is the lighting control module and ford wants 1200 dollars to put it in. However, the lights will fail again causing a dangerous situation. So I have designed a permenent fix for your headlights should they keep turning off while driving in your crown victoria, grand marquis, lincoln town car, or marauder. This is a lighting control module bypass that can easily be done by someone with electrical experience. The lighting control module will still work for the other lights, such as brake lights and turn signals. However the cornering lights will not work if the LCM fails but no big deal there because your headlights are still on!
